The development of economic cooperation in energy, mining, geology and foodstuffs sectors and the signing of Protocol from 2nd session of Poland-Albania Committee for Economic Cooperation were the key themes behind the visit of the Albanian Deputy Minister of Economy, Commerce and Energy, Neritan Alibali.The visitors were received at the Ministry of Economy on 25-26 October 2009.
During the meeting, the Polish representatives declared the will to support Albania on its path to integration with the European Union, among others by exchanging experiences in the area of agriculture, energy, environmental protection and transport.

Current cooperation on tourism and finance was evaluated positively, especially thanks to the commitment of the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development and the AlbInvest Business and Investment Promotion Agency.
The Albanian visitors met with Polish entrepreneurs, too.

During January – September 2009 the trade turnover between Poland and Albania reached EUR 14.8m, including EUR 14.05m in Polish export (rise by 16 percent compared to the same period in 2008) and almost EUR 0.7m in import from Albania.
