The Secretariat of the Minister is responsible for: organisational support for the Minister and other members of the Ministry’s management, monitoring of implementation of tasks resulting from the work plans and minutes of the meetings of the Council of Ministers and the Committee of the Council of Ministers, coordination of performance, by organisational units, of the tasks in the scope of providing replies to correspondence from the Sejm and Senate, Office of the President, Chancellery of the Prime Minister and the Commissioner for Civil Rights Protection and directs issues to be handled to the competent departments. The Secretariat is responsible for notifying the public opinion of the policy implemented by the Minister and for notifying the Ministry’s management of social reception of this policy. The Secretariat is also responsible for efficient operation of the Current Record Archives and office management of the Ministry.
