The European Funds Department implements tasks resulting from fulfilling the function of the Intermediate Body and Implementing Authority by the Minister in the scope of managing the Sectoral Operational Programme Improvement of Competitiveness of Enterprises 2004-2006, function of the Intermediate Body and Implementing Authority in managing the Operational Programme Innovative Economy and fulfilling the function of Intermediate Body in managing the Operational Programme Infrastructure and Environment. Therefore, the Department is responsible for programming and monitoring of project selection and implementation, finance management, programme monitoring and evaluation, control, information and promotion of measures under SOP Improvement of Competitiveness of Enterprises, OP Innovative Economy and OP Infrastructure and Environment, implementation of which is the responsibility of the Minister.
