Economic Development Department

The Economic Development Department is responsible for the implementation of tasks related to the preparation and monitoring of mid-term economic development strategies and programmes, in particular in the scope of competitiveness, innovation, entrepreneurship, sustainable development and horizontal and sectoral industrial policy, in the sectors not covered by tasks of other Departments. The Department coordinates the works related to implementation of the Lisbon Strategy in Poland. The Department participates in establishment of Community law in the area of the respective New Approach directives not reserved for other Departments.
